What people say about (Bartram Trail Golf Club)

Honestly, this is gotta be one of the best courses in Augusta by far. Course was in amazing condition and the views are beautiful! The staff was incredible. Ended up playing twice in the last two days with my son. Only place to play when we come back.

Great shape, a little pricey for the conditions. Range was cluttered and unorganized, nice mats to hit off though. Hard to get service at the bar during the turn and after the round. Staff were hanging around gossiping instead of asking what I wanted, had to wait for the conversation to end before placing an order. Good food and drinks when I finally got them! Overall it was a really good course, greens rolled true and were not too fast for public play but definitely not slow!

I’m concerned that this course may not be heading in the right direction. I’ve heard that members are gradually leaving, which makes me question whether becoming a member is worthwhile. In the past, members enjoyed better access to tee times, but it seems that has changed. I also understand that the Bartram Men’s group, which plays on Saturdays, now requires players to secure their own tee times. This implies that if no times are available, members may not be able to participate in the group. If the goal is to phase out members, then this approach makes sense. However, if that’s not the intent, I would strongly recommend reassessing what’s being offered to members—especially considering they continue paying dues through the slower winter months to help support the course.
