What people say about (Honey Creek Golf and Country Club)

Pastor Charles Stewart

Just played a round at Honey Creek Golf Course, and let me tell you—it was a refreshing experience from start to finish. The layout is both inviting and challenging, making it a perfect course for golfers of all skill levels. Fairways were well-kept, greens rolled true, and the scenery? Peaceful and scenic, with just the right amount of challenge tucked into every hole. The staff was friendly, and the pace of play was smooth. You could really tell this course is cared for—no rush, no pressure, just pure golf enjoyment. Whether you’re working on your short game or just out for a relaxing day with friends, Honey Creek delivers. I hadn’t played in a while due to shoulder recovery, so it felt great to be back on the course—and Honey Creek made that return extra special. Definitely a course I’ll return to. Cool vibes, solid play, and a great day on the greens.

These people have lethally removed molting geese from their golf course and their babies that were just learning to eat and walk. Geese mate for life and mourn the loss of their families. They were "rounded up" and killed because of the supposed destruction it caused their course. Using the US Dept of AG. only between the mths of mid june-aug, because these vulnerable innocent wildlife canNOT fly during this time due to molting (growing new flight feathers), and they just had babies. All were scared, split up and ultimately killed folks. Even tho it is a federal offense to kill them honey creek and AG, received special permit from USFWS to kill them folks. Its the only time there's a special permit given. Chad at the front lies and tells people they are relocated, but after I made a few calls that is NOT TRUE. USFWS strongly instruct on humane efforts to deter the geese but Honeycreek NEVER did this and only seek a lazy, convenient and incredibly inhumane way to protect their investments. They do not care about wildlife. Ive left a review before of how ignorant they've been when I interact while being a resident for 20yrs here... I really hope more people become aware. Its disgraceful and pretty sickening. Says a lot about the type of people that own that place. Time and time again it always comes back to ignorance when Ive dealt with this place. Eons ago I frequented this place but always had bad tastes, even the "new" owners... very sad and disgraceful. But they dont care!!!! The sad reality is these federally protected birds will return, another set of families to be rounded up and killed , again, to ultimately be tortured, really, because these people called folks in. When you really think about this its pretty twisted and evil. Regardless of their supposed destruction. They didn't take humane efforts that are proven to be effective, they rather torture and kill these birds, in THEIR HOME. USFWS even state its a last resort. But honey creek used it out of convenience. Hey, call the guys in, its time to kill some wildlife.

Nice course! Walkable, with rolling fairways that aren't too hilly. Challenging greens that are in great shape. Will definitely play again.
