The Preserve at Ironhorse

On vacation in the area and stopped in. Did not know if this was a public course or a private course. Couldn't get my phone to work to find out and friends of ours had played here 4 or 5 years ago with a gift certificate. The guard at the gate just waved us on in when we said we were there to check out the golf course. Went into the pro shop and asked if it was a public course. The gal behind the desk literally looked down her nose at me and said the course went private in 2024. She offered no other info, just very clearly an attitude that she wanted me to get the hell out of there and fast.

What a great golf course! A hidden gem. Picturesque holes of varying difficulty. Not too long. Very well maintained. Lots of new colorful landscaping has been added to the course. Lush fairways and manicured greens. There's so much wild life! A huge variety of birds. They are tame and just enjoying the scenery. The course isnt too crowded. I enjoy the afternoon golf and never feel rushed. Try it! You'll like it! Enjoy my picture of a morning rainbow from their newly renovated gym overlooking the course.

Just played here for the first time and I have to say the course is hands down the nicest course in South Florida. First class from top to bottom. A must see if you're in the area!
