Osswald Golf Course

Beautiful little golf course nestled inside a park - and it's free to play! The greens run fast and the vibe is super relaxed. I’ve been a few times-played solo once, and the other times I paired myself up with others. You can loop around a few times or use it for short game practice. The first tee by the parking lot brings water into play right away, and there are plenty of fun, casual challenges throughout. What makes it stand out is the setting: native cypress, mangroves, and sable palms all around the course, with white ibis and other birds cruising by. It feels like a nature walk with a putter in your hand. Great little course to unwind, practice, or just enjoy a couple laid-back laps in the sun.

If you plan to hit more then 2 golf balls or putt multiple times while waiting for the group in front of you this is not the place to go. Will get the cops called on you by an old Spanish man that claims to be the king of the course

I love this course don’t get me wrong. Yes the greens are absolute garbage and you cannot put on them but it is free. However, they’re constantly closed for maintenance but nothing is being done to the three holes that we play. At least put and change your hours online so people don’t waste part of their day off driving over there to practice just to turn around and have to go to the range. Great place to practice, but not a good place to work on putting chipping is a joke. The greens are absolute garbage. The driving range is a joke unless you want to chase your balls around. But for free you cannot complain the distances the advertise, however, are wrong. I can play this entire course with the putter, pitching wedge and 9 iron.
