What people say about (Calusa Country Club At Lakewood Ranch)

Bill Jennings

Very disappointing...grossly overpriced. Played in an absolute dust bowl. Course shouldn't be open yet. Construction everywhere. Empty cleared lots on the course cause dirt to blow everywhere. Maybe a year from now, it will be worth it, but not in March 2025.

Cory Ocker

Slow, rock hard greens, no water, no food, no signage. Rate was $73 for Sunday morning round, which is discounted for what they eventually plan to charge. No ranger so the play was extremely slow. The course is setup to make it slow with lots of shots where players can go for it requiring to wait until the green is clear. Greens are new. Maybe they'll get better, but right now they are concrete even after tons of rain. Bring water if you want it. There aren't water jugs. Beverage cart came around twice. No food on it, only snacks. Everything is under construction. Finding the next hike is a pain. No signage. Cart screens continued to freeze.

Dyche Martin

It's new. The whole area is under construction, except the course itself. It is top-notch. Fairways groomed. Bunkers are in good shape with soft sand (believe me, I know). And the greens are excellent, lots of undulations so very challenging. We got around it in right at 4 hours. I will for sure play it again.
