Westchase Golf Club

Really expected more of a place who has the nerve to charge 100 a round at 2 pm on a Sunday. Waiting 10-15 min on each tee box, 5 hr 30 min round of golf and course conditions similar to the likes of northdale. Not sure why courses feel they can continue to keep prices high when conditions and pace of play are this bad.

Beautiful venue and good food. We hosted our Faculty Winter Party here and it turned out very well. The food was good and the setting with the lake and the putting greens made for a very serene and peaceful backdrop to the festivities.

Played nine there today. It had rained a bunch overnight so it was cart path only. Guy in pro shop was very nice and helpful. Driving rang is an aqua-range so you intentionally aim at the water. Fairways great and well mowed. Greens had been aerated about a week ago but still putted quick and true. Fun layout and need to think about where you want to hit tee shots. Really enjoyed course and will play agin in Tampa. Reasonable priced.
