I've been to the recreation center twice for small gatherings. The place is quite nice. I have no idea what it costs to rent, but I feel like it would be worth looking at for your event. It might seat approximately 100 comfortably.

Liked it enough to purchase home there. Nice club house. Quality park.

First time there for lunch. Lovely community, clubhouse and staff. Only reason 4 stars is some fried foods came out overly browned. Will definitely go back.

This is a beautiful and welcoming Country Club. The golf course is fun and fast. The food in the clubhouse is amazing! People have been relaxed and there to enjoy. It's become a regular Saturday stop for me! Thanks Southport.

One staff driving a cart yelled at me when I was heading to putting green to go around the isle in front to go across and then go left. He yelled at me 3 times to go, but i was waiting on a delivery truck so it wouldn't run over me. I finally yelled back at him.'there is a truck turning in' not the first time staff has yelled at people I have golfed with

This course is a gem (in process...) They are taking steps to make it better. The layout is awesome! Short and narrow, which I loved, so when I go to other courses, I will feel with huge wide fairways and greens. Right now, it has 7 temporary greens, and you can see they are implementing measures to "get there." The amenities are in very good shape. Nice people around, including staff and residents. Everything Very-Very clean!

Played this course this weekend, and you can see it is being worked towards a great one! I loved the layout and the surroundings, as well as amenities are very well cared. The Pro shop is small but packed with all you might need, and a very friendly gentleman attending it is a plus! I guess (and hope) in a few months. It will be one of the best in the area! As of now, you'll see some temporary holes in order to let the regular ones rest and prosper. Fun and challenging to play! The pace is Great for those who want to enjoy a round with friends! (The way, in my opinion, it should be). Many happy groups playing last weekend, which adds to the great environment! I encourage all to Support them, so we can enjoy a great course in the upcoming months!
