What people say about (Bloomingdale Golfers Club)

Access

I had high hopes for The Bloomingdale Golfers Club, but my experience there was a total letdown. As someone who golfs a couple times a month, I’ve seen my share of courses, and this one stands out for all the wrong reasons. The biggest problem? A massive snarl of fallen trees and overgrown weeds smack dab along hole 7. It’s not just an eyesore—it’s downright dangerous. I sliced my shot a bit off the fairway, and when I went to find my ball, I nearly twisted an ankle, tripping over hidden roots and jagged limbs. Nothing is marking it as a hazard, and there are no ropes or signs to warn you off. It's just a chaotic mess, and the club’s apparently too lazy to deal with it. It’s ridiculous how much it drags down the whole round—you’re constantly worrying about landing in that disaster zone instead of enjoying your game. And honestly, it makes the place look abandoned, which is the last thing you want when you’re paying good money to play. I mentioned it to a staff member after, hoping they’d at least pretend to care, but all I got was a blank stare and some excuse about “maintenance schedules.” If this is their idea of upkeep, they’re in over their heads. Save your time and your clubs—skip this course until they get their act together and clear out that death trap.

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at The Bloomingdale Golfers Club, and I feel compelled to warn others about the dangerous hazard I encountered on their course. Right along the fairway, there’s a massive pile of fallen trees and jagged stumps that looks like it hasn’t been touched in years. It’s a complete eyesore and a serious safety risk—imagine a stray ball sending you scrambling near that mess, only to trip over roots or get scratched by broken branches! The lack of maintenance is appalling for a club that claims to care about its players. It’s clear they prioritize profits over safety, and I wouldn’t recommend this poorly managed course to anyone. Stay away unless you want to risk injury on top of a frustrating game!

If your looking to spend money and expect a at-least decent greens and waiting 20 minutes for a tee because there 2-4 people in don’t of you this course is perfect for you. 15 out of 18 holes the putting greens are terrible. After a long day of golfing around 6 o clock the sprinklers will come on and give you a nice cold down. If you like overpriced golf courses with awful greens come to Bloomingdale golfers club.
