What people say about (Nature Walk Golf Club)

Jason Petsch

If you’re visiting the area looking for a more affordable course.. don’t go here. Although it may be more affordable than other surrounding options, I can assure you that it’s still not worth it. I came into it with low expectations but this course really blew my already low expectations out of the water. I at least expected my ball to roll on the greens (brown grass), not jump or bounce in different directions. This course is dirty, ugly, terribly maintained, and get this… one of the greens was so bad they actually just put the hole in the middle of the fairway! You can tell whoever designed this course was lazy, who puts 3 holes on a singular green!?!? If you’re looking to save a couple extra dollars, trust me just spend the money and get on a course where you won’t want to drown yourself in the nearest body of water!

I played 18 holes here, as my first round of golf while I was here for the month of February. I choose it for the price ($40 for one person with a cart.) The course was not in the best condition, but keep in mind it was February. It has some fun water Challenges and open fairways. The tee boxes and greens were in rough conditions compared to other courses in the area. Unlike many courses around panama I played without being held up or pushed. I had a great time, staff is freindly as well as the people on the course. I will say that snacks and adult beverage is limited.

At the start of the year, the greens were pretty rough, the winter storm definitely took its toll. For a while, putting felt more like a game of Plinko than golf. But credit where it’s due: over the months, the greens have steadily improved and are now rolling true again. I actually have to aim my putts now! The course offers the best rates in the area, making it a great value. The staff is top notch always friendly and welcoming, even on the busiest days. It’s become my go-to spot to escape the stress of work and focus on improving my game. Highly recommend.
