I enjoyed playing this course. The fairways were in excellent shape, almost on the lush side, and the staff and employees treated us very well. I played the West course and it was a nice challenge from the tips at nearly 6,500 yards. My only reservation or slightly negative comment is that the main road, Imperial Drive, splits the West nines and there are five to six tee boxes right along the roadway. I just felt strange to have traffic driving while you were playing tee shots right next to the road. All in all a very nice and enjoyable round of golf. UPDATE: My review above was for the West course at Imperial Golf Club. Recently, I had the pleasure of playing the East course and found it to be one of the best courses in Naples Florida. The layout is fantastic, with notable hole after notable hole. While the West course is split by Imperial Golf Club Drive, the East course winds its way through a more remote area, and just has a remarkable and memorable quality to it. I have played over 60 golf courses in Naples and many of them are in excellent condition and very nice to play, but there are very few that provide an experience where hole after hole is visually appealing and challenging.
