Stayed at the Longboat Key Club and played 9 holes each afternoon with my wife. Course was in excellent shape and no issues with pace of play. Golf staff was excellent, very friendly and on point.
The staff are exceptionally kind, from the reception to the wait staff to the housekeeping crew. It's nice to feel welcomed in a place you've only ever been twice. This time, our stay was in a redesigned suite that was exceptionally well decorated and roomy. When a 30 year Florida resident falls in love with a beach resort, you know it's something special.
This place is absolutely gorgeous! The gate man is incredibly kind and knowledgeable and also firm about who gets in. The neighborhood surrounding the course is beautiful and the course looks exquisite. It is well kept and there are people at all levels of skill playing and having fun.
