What people say about (Hideaway Country Club)

Great course. Very well manicured and the greens rolled very true. Love the layout. Bunkers were nice as well. Will like to play again. Always a pleasure to play different courses.

I can't say enough about this course; it’s truly a hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the lively atmosphere, with many members and golfers enjoying their personal golf carts, complete with music, creating a vibrant and enjoyable environment. I had a shotgun start at 8:30 from hole 18. Right from the tee-off, I knew it was going to be an exceptional day. The pace of play was perfect; I never felt the pressure of someone on my tail, nor did I have to wait for others. While I don’t mind waiting for others, being trailed can get into my head, even though I play fast. The shotgun start was ideal for this. I played from the tips and found the course to be easy yet challenging in a unique way. It’s great for short game practice and those crucial shots that really keep scores low. The fairways are pristine, unmatched by other local courses like Old Corkscrew, Babcock Ranch, Ibis Landing, Palmetto Pines, Hunters Run, Myerlee, River Hall, Coral Oaks, and Eastwood. The golf cart felt like it was gliding on a soft, fluffy carpet, offering fantastic chip-and-runs, firm fringes for perfect putts, and well-maintained bunkers. This course goes above and beyond with amenities, featuring two bathrooms and two drink stations, both with clean, filtered water. Even the fanciest clubs usually only offer one on the back nine. The greens were in excellent condition, despite being just two weeks into aerification. I’m eager to return when they are fully healed. A particularly nice gentleman informed me that the course is open to the public until October, which is great news as I plan to return often. The water hazards were clean and well-maintained, making even the challenging shots manageable. Throughout the course, I noticed ongoing enhancements, including new sod with signs politely requesting to avoid driving over it. I can’t wait to come back and beat my score. Thank you for allowing public players the opportunity to enjoy this fantastic course. It has truly been a pleasure.
