Heritage Bay Golf & Country Club

We got married at Heritage Bay Country Club on 5/24/25 and had an amazing experience! The gazebo was stunning with white draping, the food was delicious, and the entire day ran smoothly thanks to Brooke. She was incredible—so helpful and organized. The rest of the team was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the reception. We highly recommend this venue!

We played the Pine & Cypress courses on a very hot summer day. The course conditions from tee to green are pristine with beautiful landscapes in an upscaled community! The fairways are wide-opened with some elevation changes. The greens run smooth with acceptable speeds and enough undulations to make putting interesting. This is a type of course that you can have fun without too much stress in playing.

It has taken me a bit to write this review since I wanted all the input I could get from family and friends. My now husband and I had our wedding here. We paid so much money and the outcome makes me sad. To start off we were told 240 people would be able to fit comfortably in the venue only to be told after it would be an extra cost to open up the bar side of the venue in order to fit 205 people let alone 240. They ended up giving us the whole top section without us having to pay the extra $6000 realizing their mistake of what were initially told but with the back and forths and the wedding being a couple of weeks away the distress and mental exhaustion it caused me should have not happened. Moving on to the day of the wedding. My father was upset because the table numbers were not as we wanted them, when asked if they could switch them as how we initially wanted them Brooke would not accommodate and stated she could not switch them because “the servers would get confused”. Again we had written down for her how we wanted the tables placed and that is not how they were set up the day of the wedding. The AC in the ladies lounge where my bridal party and I got ready in was broken it got to the point where I was feeling light headed. The ladies lounge and men’s lounge were also not blocked off to other residents so while I was in there getting ready strangers kept showing up at uncomfortable times. Guests complained of cob webs and dust on the ceiling and ceiling lights which they thought was gross to have at such a large and again expensive wedding. The bartender was no where to be found throughout periods of when people wanted drinks, and people were not even directed properly of which doors to go through before and after the ceremony like I was told that they would be, the doors were still closed to the other part of the bar and one of my guests had to open that section off! And then the cherry on top of it all. I forgot to pick up the top tier of my cake the next day (normal human error after such a big event I would think) Brooke asked me if I was still picking it up she had it in the freezer. We were far away at the time still seeing family so I asked if we could pick it up in two days and she said it needed to be picked up before hand, seeing that she wasn’t going to help us with this small gesture again after paying the amount that we paid I just told her to throw the cake away at this point and her response was a thumbs up like on my text. There are more I can get into but these were issues I had to mention for others to be aware of. All in all I’m glad I got to marry the love of my life, but I regret paying a venue as much as we did for what we received which was a below average outcome.
