It was a great course back in the 1980s & 1990s and the restaurant and bar were wonderful places to have some drinks and have a fantastic meal. I liked the restaurant so much for lunch on weekdays, that I proposed to my former wife one afternoon while having a meal there. Since then I have only played the course several times and visited the bar and ordered sandwiches , I have never been back in the restaurant because it wasn't open. The course has had it's ups & downs throughout the years, but it's a challenging course and recently it's been in much nicer shape than previously, thank you...It was one of the prime courses in the area back in the 80s & 90s and it would be nice to see it return to it's glory days. The bar, the food, and the service provided is exceptional.
First time playing here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great design as is expected for an Arnold Palmer course. Course itself was in overall average condition considering the time of year and abundance of rain recently. Drainage was very good. The greens rolled really well for a public track. Had lunch in the grill room, which was very good and reasonably priced. Definitely will be back!
It was a pretty cold morning with a wind gusting up what made hard to warm up. Checkin was a smooth and friendly. Golf course is a very challenging and requires skill above average golfer. Greens are in good shape and challenging. Overall golf course is In good shape and value for what we paid is there.
