The Club at Gateway

Excellent party packages are available here. We threw my baby shower and it was a phenomenal experience. From the party manager, Sarah, to all of the servers and the cooks who managed the breakfast buffet brunch. Everyone was so kind, so professional, and very attentive to not just me but all of my guests we really appreciate their good humor and attitude. They were very flexible. My mom was in charge when she got there. She was not very happy at the table set up, but they had no problem with changing it to appease her and I really appreciated that, everything was just awesome and I recommend anyone to throw any kind of party here we felt the breakfast brunch was the best bang for our buck but they do have various other packages. you pay per head and as long as all your guests show up, it’s very well worth it.

Do NOT join here as a sports member. We joined 3 years ago and truly enjoyed our membership. This season has been horrible to say the least. As a sports member your golf is limited during season.. that’s fine, we understood the limitations during season. You cannot make a tee time over 3 days out, that was fine till this year. In the previous 2 season my wife and I could golf, alone, pretty much any time after 12:00 . This year , although the number of members hasn’t changed, after the course closure for renovations, we are/ were unable to find an open time before 4:30…. Ridiculous…so… until the time change you couldn’t even play 9 before dark. It seems the cost of renovations is born by members in allowing more outings, outside golfers, more “ guests”…. This is most expensive nine holes of golf we have ever played. If you enjoy late day, slow play golf, the sports membership is definitely for you. As a parting gift, the last 3 times we attempted to dine on the patio, we had to find someone to wait on us… not at all our previous experience. Whatever has changed there… good luck. We resigned today. If you’re looking for a seasonal club, this isn’t it. Do Not join here.

BEWARE OF THE MAIN GATE. The black lady with gold teeth was on her cell phone when I pulled up behind a truck at front gate. Takes her three minutes to come outside to take care of guy in front of me and then when I pull up she’s still yapping on the phone for another two minutes before she tells me I need to turn around and go to the gate down the way ;all while still chatting on the phone) I got to other guy, guy checks me in with a code homeowner sends me. He doesn’t say anything about me having to come out this gate. As I was just leaving the community I was never told I could not go out the gate. A disheveled white male security guy pulls me over and tells me they’re finding my company $100 for going out this Gate. Told him there’s absolutely no way because not one person told me specially the black lady who turned me around with the gold teeth that I wasn’t allowed to go out this gate. Dude proceed to take pictures of my van and my tag. Doesn’t state anything outside about fines. I didn’t receive anything from community or HOA about leaving or entering certain gates. I will never do work in this community for that reason alone.
