NAS PENSCOLA GOLF COURSE

Great military course. Well maintained and usually in pretty good shape. Another plus here is that the beverage cart service is on point; you'll usually see it four or five times per round. The only downside is that you get a lot of hackers out on the weekends who don't necessarily understand etiquette and pace of play. Still, usually a round is under 4.5 hours.

Not in very good condition, greens are sanded and patchy, fairways are ok, anything outside the fairway is likely bare ground. Slow play, not marshalled. Not really worth the $45 military rate.

One of the better military courses I've played. I hate to admit that since I'm in the Air Force. Lol. Well maintained and the restaurant and lounge area is really nice. Good water views throughout the course. My buddy couldn't stay out of the rough, but I had good views while waiting for him to make it to the greens.
