Ocean Breeze Golf Club

I especially liked the service we got from the gentleman at the front desk upon our arrival. There had been a booking error in our tee time but we were all given a discount and squeezed onto the golf course right away with no disruption. Even without the discount, you can't beat the value. You get all the golf you want, with cart and breakfest, lunch and 2 beers! The pace was better than I expected too. I am definitely coming back.

It's a very average course. After 3 you get $19 for a round plus two free (small) beers and a cart. Can't really beat it. There's no real rough, it's all sorts the same length. Greens can be hit or miss, but don't hugely affect play. One complaint is that they don't do rain checks after 3, regardless of how many holes you played. What utter BS.

Where do I begin? This review isn't particularly aimed at Boca Breeze, as the course was nice, fast greens on some holes and even some challenging par 4's. But the starter, the lack of a ranger and the RIDICULOUS "golfers" made for an awful experience. And no one present to take my cart at the end as well. Aside from more sand on the fairways than you'll see at some beaches (and tons of fire ant piles), the 1st tee had two parties ahead of us. We should not have been told to tee off at our designated tee time. We saw more people cutting, starting on the back 9, yelling at each other, throwing cigarette butts on the greens and awful etiquette than I have ever seen. I'm a 29 year old intermediate golfer and these mostly middle aged golfers acted like drunk idiots. If you want a cheap place to play and improve your game, knock yourself out, unless you mind sitting in your cart rolling your eyes in disbelief 80% of the time.
