What people say about (The VUE CT)

Lauren S

My now-husband and I got married here in June 2025, and it was absolutely AMAZING—10/10 recommend! From start to finish, everything went so smoothly for my husband and me. Every staff member we encountered truly looked out for us. Matt (the owner), Lory (sales manager), Bianca, and Ellis all played a huge role in making the day so special. Throughout the planning process, communication was clear and timely. They were always quick to answer our questions and made us feel fully supported every step of the way. The venue staff took care of setting up all of our decor and made sure everything was perfectly in place, which allowed us to just enjoy the day without any stress. When we arrived, the bridal suite was already stocked with champagne and fresh fruit, which was such a thoughtful touch. We loved having a beautiful private room with our own bathroom to use throughout the entire event—it made getting ready and taking breaks during the night so easy and comfortable. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food—both the quality and the quantity. From cocktail hour to dinner, so many people told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The venue itself is stunning—modern, sleek, and beautiful. We had 142 guests and the space felt so comfortable, with plenty of room to dance, eat, and enjoy drinks. The wrap-around balcony is absolutely breathtaking. Even though we had a little misting on our day, the outdoor setup was still beautiful and we captured so many amazing photos on the golf course. The staff were so kind and attentive, making sure everyone had what they needed. They even made sure I always had food waiting for me in the bridal suite anytime I was in there. The two bars kept things moving smoothly—our guests never had to wait in long lines for drinks. Even our vendors—photographers, videographers, DJ, and florist—shared how much they enjoyed working with the staff here, which made the entire day flow effortlessly. There is honestly so much more I could say. It was truly the best day of our lives and we feel so lucky to have gotten married at The Vue. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, we highly recommend them. We would choose them again and again! We only have our sneak peaks back so I added a few below!

We had our wedding here 6/14/25. Can't say enough great compliments to the event space and the entire staff. Our guest couldn't stop talking about the food (quality and quantity) at a venue. They made us feel welcome and took care of our every need. Lory was a blessing to work wit! Bianca and Ellis were all a great help through the planning process as well. The owner Matt even took his time out to reach out to us and meet with us multiple times throughout the process to ensure everything was going smoothly for our day. The staff throughout the night was attentive, helpful, fun and a great vibe. I couldn't recommend the VUE more for a wedding or any event.

What is this place? It immediately gave LIV and Entourage vibes. The guy working the pro shop, Vinny Chase, couldn't have cared less that I was there to check in, he was too busy talking to other workers. The "new" renovated building is a modern eye soar with hallways and bathrooms that look like they haven't been touched since the 70's. It's basically a golf course surrounded by a constructions site...I'm not a golf snob, but a little bit of maintenance and landscaping goes a long way. I went off as a single, and it was slow. I was behind two three or foursomes and another single. At the 11th tee box, a ranger appeared for the first time all round and told me that they couldn't have singles playing because of how backed up they were and the complaints about how slow it was. He told me I'd have to play with the threesome of younger guys behind me- they were nice guys, but played at a significantly lower level than me and without basic golf etiquette...what started as a good round for me pretty quickly took a turn because of all this. I understand if a course gets crowded or things slow down, but either don't let a single go off in the first place or catch the single at the turn and make the adjustment. It was obvious that a ranger was sent out, and made changes without first getting an idea of what was actually going on and what group(s) were causing the slow pace. Don't feel the need to come back here.
