Hunter Memorial Golf Course

I played Hunter GC for the 1st time in many years, on 7/6/25, and I was pleasantly surprised/thoroughly impressed. The course was in tremendously good condition. Previously, every time I played Hunters, it was overly soggy. That's what came to my mind, when I continually chose to pass when HMGC was proposed. Now, I look forward to returning sometime soon.

It's been years since I pulll3d out the clubs, so I dusted them off today and went with a colleague after work to hit the range. Will be on the course in a couple of days, so can make a better assessment then, but it looked well maintained and not overcrowded.

Greens are a bit bumpy, fairways are pretty good, the tee boxes all suffered during the summer but with the cooler weather and some work will probably recover in 2 -3 weeks. Great layout, always enjoy playing here
