What people say about (Rolling Greens Golf Club)

Clifford Moore

Played on 4/27/2025 a Sunday. This by very, very far is the worst golf course I have ever step foot on, never mind played. Tee boxes, all dirt. Greens have not been cut and extremely slow. More mold than grass. Fairways are full of dandelions, don't use a yellow ball. Worst cart paths i have ever encountered. I think they should just close this place down and build housing. I think that's the plan, because they certainly are not putting money into the course.

First the positives. Location. This course sits within a neighborhood of condos and apartments. Easily accessed by anyone who lives within minutes drive. I only live 8 minutes. General layout. Great! Short holes yes, but not easy unless you can intentionally draw or fade. Otherwise, you'd need to control your shots well. Also some of the holes rise and fall in elevation presenting enough interests. Green. IF (and that's a BIG IF) the conditions were good, I think the greens will be very challenging and interesting. Negatives. Tall grass everywhere. I could not distinguish between a fairway and a rough. Fairway had grass as tall as couple of inches while rough's grass was more like 5~6 inches. Yikes! We played on May 21st and maybe they didn't cut the grass yet but man, too much. Greens. Dead grass patches as well as dead spots due to unrepaired and damaged dents. My putts were not rolling but jumping! Ha haa Bottom line. I think this course has a lot of potential. I wish I was a multi-millionaire so that I can buy this course and repair it. Turn it into a fun course for the locals, junior golfers, and family events. I want to go back if the conditions improve but in the current state, not sure...

Played here yesterday because it was close to my buddies house. This course was really nice.... 25 YEARS AGO. Now I don't even know how they call themselves a golf course. By far the worst course with the worst conditions I've ever seen. How they can charge $30 for 9 is beyond me. That's about $29.99 more than it was worth. Do yourself a favor, NEVER go here. Fairways are not existent. Greens are not greens. They're brown dirt with fungus everywhere. Seriously, go play in a field somewhere, you'll have a much better experience.
