Hidden gem of a state course. Three 9 hole courses (Red, Blue, and Green) with driving range with water views and putting green area. Greens run a bit fast with challenging pin placements. Just Love playing here.
Sunken Meadow golf course is a good course for the price. Fairly challenging and water only comes into play on two holes. Extra bonus- greens fees are free for veterans. Also quite a bit of goose poop 💩 on the green course during winter months.
I am a disabled veteran, can't drive. Graciously military Vets may play gratis. I ride my e+bike 15 miles to course and manager will not allow me to plug in battery to charge ("We are not a charging station", fear of fire with "those" batteries. Same batteries as every phone & laptop & everything else, Li ion - FAA allows it on passenger aircraft in flight ) (brought my own charger, with golf clubs on my back on bike+1 Gal liquids as a soda costs $4.50, and they will not give any ice, water, or anything else not outrageously overpriced !) So typical! Civil Service, default reply=NO, CAN'T, DON'T. What am effective manager would do would be to see a need of a customer and find a way or get permission to help the customer. Nope! No, can't, won't, don't. Leadership? Sad. Manager DID allow me to finish a charge before banning completely. Course nice, gets a lot of play, greens need tending!
