Ayumi is a very talented, thoughtful and organized coach. In a matter of mere months she transformed my son from a decent amateur to a tournament winning player. She’s definitely someone you can go to fix your swing or learn the game. But where she shines the most is shaping the entire game - swing, short game and strategy.

I have had six lessons with Ayumi Hori and have made significant progress with my swing since working with her. I am very happy with her teaching and highly recommend her. Ayumi provides every student with the roadmap for improvement and really wants to see her students succeed. The lessons are intense and very informative. But she also expects hard work between lessons. If you're looking for a quick and easy fix, she's probably not for you. But if want to follow a system for swinging the golf club that is reliable, powerful and sustainable, Ayumi will guide you all the way to playing your best golf. Side note - I received a compliment today from a woman on how well I was hitting the ball and she was shocked to find out that I drive to LA for golf lessons. 02/2024 - back for two lessons. I got off track and came to see the doctor :) Ayumi diagnosed the issues in my swing and then we went to work! I’m back on the right track and know what to work on (instead of guessing). Golf is so much fun when you’re hitting good golf shots and know what to work on. I’ll be back for more fine tuning. And I’m feeling more confident. Thank you!
