Golf at Omni La Costa

What an outstanding course some of the best golfing experience so far this year high quality staff the pro shop gives excellent service and of course the Resort is impeccable. All aspects of my experience was stellar.

Nice golf course with a number of homes surrounding the course. Decent amount of elevation change and a nice view of the mountains. Nothing particular difficult about the course; most of the fairways are pretty straight. Clubhouse has a nice view. Friendly staff. There was a cold ocean breeze on the day I played in April—be sure to bring a pullover.

Tee time at 2:34 paid $2xx. Immediately thought that’s not too bad for how nice of a course this was going to be. Stepped onto the first green and immediately regretted my decision to play here. Greens were in terrible shape for the price they were demanding to play here. Super dried out with hundreds of divots on each green. The tee boxes and fairways were very nice though, some spots under construction… no big deal. Club house is nice, but absolutely 0 signs pointing you there, had to stumble around the resort to find it. Will not be going back. Save yourself some money and go play the Aviara course down the road. Much nicer and almost half the price.
