I’ve been in Santa Rosa for a few weeks now and have enjoyed every second I’ve spent at The Fountaingrove Club. The staff is world class and the playing conditions are the best in the North Bay Area. The views, too, are breathtaking. The club did lose their clubhouse in the fire, but is opening a semi-permanent space and will be breaking ground on a new clubhouse later this year. From tennis, aquatics, golf, yoga, spin... Whatever your goals, The Fountaingrove Club can help. Santa Rosa has something special here and I’m honored to be a part of it. #ExperienceTroon
We are members and eat at Summit Kitchen frequently. We try to participate in as many of the special events as we can to support the club, however, many times we leave disappointed. Last night we joined two other members for the Harvest Dinner. I honestly felt like it was a meal that would be served at an assisted living facility or nursing home. The salad was good, as well as the pumpkin soup, but the main meal and dessert left a lot to be desired! The main course was tepid in temperature and the schnitzel was dry. It seemed as if they made several dinners earlier in the day and then just warmed them up before serving. The dessert topping was burnt, the pastry was too chewy and so hard it could not be sliced with a fork. Since we have joined the club two years ago, there have been three chefs. We were hopeful that the latest chef would be a nice addition, he made some changes to the menu and the quality of the food seemed to improve a bit. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has not been maintained and continues to diminish. We were also at the last prime rib dinner and the food was entirely too salty. I am giving two stars instead of one because the staff are really nice and from their regular menu, the burger, cobb and Thai salads are consistently good. It has been really disappointing that a club of this stature struggles so much to maintain a restaurant with good quality food and an interesting menu. I know the standards are high, we are in wine country after all, with a lot of excellent restaurants but the members deserve better. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I really hope the management figures it out soon. When we first joined, the restaurant was always busy, but we have noticed over the last 6 months are so, the patronage has decreased significantly.
Absolutely delighted to review and highlight the exclusive experience playing golf and enjoying the clubhouse at this private golf club! The meticulously manicured course offers a perfect backdrop for luxurious living, with fantastic properties strategically placed along the lush fairways. A golfer's paradise seamlessly blended with exquisite real estate – a dream come true for those seeking both elegance and leisure.
