What people say about (Silver Creek Valley Country Club)

Tanisha Bonnette

This review is long overdue! On 8/1/2024, I had the absolute joy of getting married at Silver Creek Valley Country Club—and if you’re searching for a wedding venue, truly, look no further. Rosa and her team are nothing short of phenomenal. From our very first tour, Rosa’s professionalism and knowledge stood out. As an event and wedding planner myself, I instantly felt a deep sense of trust in her. She knew exactly what she was doing and made every step feel smooth and intentional. The venue itself is breathtaking. The lawn offers two stunning ceremony options—one beside the cascading waterfall, and the other framed by the gorgeous dome, both picture-perfect. The reception space is equally unforgettable, with panoramic views overlooking a canyon of rolling hills and mountains. It’s the kind of backdrop that leaves guests speechless. And let’s talk about the food—absolutely delicious! Rosa was so efficient in providing pricing, helping us curate our timeline, and walking us through every detail with care. From our first tour to the six-week-out check-in and tasting, the service never wavered. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the beauty of the venue and the outstanding customer service they experienced. I could go on and on, but I’ll leave it at this: my husband and I are beyond grateful. We felt supported, valued, and celebrated the entire way through. Silver Creek Valley Country Club gave us the wedding of our dreams—and Rosa, we can’t thank you enough! Tanisha Kountouriotis

Silver Creek is a great golf course. The only way to really describe this course is BIG. It feels large. Meaning lots of elevation changes and it covers a large area. I am a Mike Strantz fan. Tobacco Road is one of my favorites. The only hole on this course that resembles Tobacco is the par 3 #4 hole. There is kinda an additional 19th hole, but it uses the green of #18. But it is a really fun golf shot from the top of the water fall. There were a few imperfections on a couple holes from ground squirrels, but they have put new sod down on the fairways so it will recover quickly. Greens were in good shape and running true. Not the fastest, but good. I would say about 10.5 The bunkers are in good shape Overall, i would come golf this course every time i am in the San Jose area.

We hosted a religious wedding banquet at SCVCC last weekend, and it was perfect. By far, this venue is the best wedding venue in the bay area. The setting is gorgeous, and the banquet hall overlooks the golf course and you can see the man made waterfalls from the side. The cocktail area was setup nicely. The appetizers were great. The staff is very professional and competent, especially the director of catering Rosa Molina, who helped us throughout the whole process. Rosa was very friendly, helpful, responsive and easy to work with. Rosa went out of her way, and during her off days, to respond to our messages and emails. Other staff members who helped us include David Urrea, James Hallihan, and Domenic Pomponio. All our family and guests loved this venue and are considering it for future events.
