Hands down best scenery in the valley during the winter spring time. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is their range is trash. Like hitting balls into a an empty dirt field. To make matters worse they have 2-3 makeshift targets and no cart to collect balls, which they compensate for by closing the range extremely early. As someone who lives close by it’s disappointing that I can’t go hit balls here after work.
They did a lot of work getting this golf course to where it was and added some really fluffy sand. There’s a few greens that still need a lot work like 11, 14. Some patches of dirt on the fairway. But for the most part very playable for me and a difficult course due to lots of water and hazards. The food is average. I got the bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato does. The meat was too well done for my liking. They don’t ask how you well you want your patty cooked. I recommend early tee time since when I finished, the 1st hole was backed up to about 4/5 carts. Will be coming back soon since it’s so close to where I work.
Very beautiful challenging course. A lot of upgrades being done at the moment to the Pro shop and Club House. But it's still open and has some amazing views of the course. The Floods a few years back did take a toll on it which caused them to shut down but it is definitely worth getting out there now. A little bit of work still getting done on some holes but nothing that would take away from the experience. Definitely worth the little drive for myself coming from Visalia.
