PGA WEST Pete Dye Stadium Course

The Stadium Course has been on bucket list forever and it totally exceeded my expectations. Course conditions were outstanding. Remarkable given the traffic. As expected course architecture was crazy penal (in a great, fun way). The scale of the mounds and humps is staggering. The bunkering is truly unique and tee shots feel unsettling as they either include dramatic risk/reward elements or awkward, obfuscated landing areas. Staff were great. One of the most enjoyable golf experiences I’ve had.

Course is in great shape, good variety of holes and greens are very fair. Took the starter's advice and played to landing areas, don't get greedy trying to press and had several scoring opportunities. Houses around the course dampen the ambience a bit but they're not in play, so not a big deal. If you can get off the tee and don't get greedy, this course is not overly challenging.

Excellent guest experience. Very fun golf course.
