Lake of the Pines Proshop and Golf Course

Nice enough golf course, although showing effects of July heat. Pretty decent layout and a variety of wildlife around the course. Didn't even realize there was a lake there, even though I've played Dark Horse multiple times. Private course, but would still play if given the opportunity.

Spend about 65% of my workdays here. Most here are friendly, very nice & large lake. Great view from several areas.

I had the chance to play this course yesterday with the Golfmoose Group, really enjoyed it. The course was way better than I expected, difficult if you haven't played it before but enjoyable. The people from the golf course that were running the event were very nice and helpful. The ladies at the snack bar were very nice and especially the lady running the snack cart, she was great. She came around many times making sure we had ice and drinks as it got really hot. I enjoy playing different courses and have had the opportunity to play a lot of private courses. Today at Lake of the Pines it was my 406 different course and I enjoyed every minute of it. If they ever have another event here I will definitely be there. Skip Mallory
