This place is amazing. Our host Charlotte was friendly and helpful. The property was immaculate. The amount of work to maintain the green grass, the mown hillsides, the pristine campsites, and the stocked firewood was incredible. We played two round of disc golf during our stay. The Black Diamond 27 hole course and Charlotte's Web Skill Shot course. Both well maintained and challenging in their own rights. We also cooled off in the creek each afternoon, which was a real treat, as the weather was hot! Thank you to Browns and Bows for the epic stay.
A very nice set of courses, well laid out holes with some water hazards, drops, high baskets and plenty of trees. The grounds are well maintained and the pro shop is enormous with hundreds of discs to choose from. They’ll give you a decent color map, but also recommend the app Udisc, which is kept up to date with hole position. The pro shop also has a small fridge with water and sodas, some candy bars and chips for sale. Any thing else you want to eat or drink bring with. The entrance is only marked for the wedding chapel, so even though Google maps had the right location I initially drove past it. Likewise the pro shop is down a path from the parking lot but had to ask someone where it was because it’s not marked. Other than that minor hiccup it was great.
The courses here are brilliant and the land itself is beautiful. Theres a front 18, back 18, and a skill shot 18 with another 18 baskets through it for an alternate route (sharlotte's web and finske's i think they were called). There's a lot of variation in shot design, and fun basket setups throughout. Everything is well maintained, while still feeling very natural. There are old oaks, and rushing streams with little makeshift bridges over them, scenic views from a couple of hills, great variety of birds flying overhead. I stayed in a cabin with ac which was great for the small chunk of the days I spent inside. You can't beat having four different first tees within a few seconds of walking. The campsites also looked really picturesque so I might try one of those next. Definitely worth a longer drive
