The Islands Golf Center

This is definitely my go to range! Love the upgrades! Food is way better than it should be lol store is cool! Only crappy part is all the bugs! If they had zappers I’d be at this place all night.

The Islands Golf Center – Where Golf Meets Grit and the Night Comes Alive Tucked away in Anaheim, The Islands Golf Center isn’t your typical driving range. It’s a place where the scent of fresh-cut grass mingles with the distant hum of traffic, and the glow of floodlights casts long shadows over eager golfers lining up their shots. On a Friday or Saturday night, this place pulses with energy. Families, first dates, and solo swingers all converge here, united by the satisfying thwack of club meeting ball. The 82 hitting stalls are often packed, each one a stage for personal triumphs and the occasional slice into the water. Ah, yes—the water. This isn’t just any range; it’s a water driving range, where 13 floating targets bob between 50 and 250 yards out. It’s like playing Battleship with golf balls, and every hit feels like a small victory.  The balls themselves are floaters, retrieved by a dock team in boats—a spectacle in its own right. It’s a reminder that golf doesn’t always have to be prim and proper; sometimes, it’s about embracing the unconventional and finding joy in the splash. The facility has undergone recent renovations, boasting a full golf shop with new and used clubs, a chipping area, and two putting greens. The kitchen serves up homemade recipes at reasonable prices, adding to the charm of this local gem.   Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a curious newcomer, The Islands Golf Center offers an experience that’s both unique and unpretentious. It’s a place where the game is accessible, the atmosphere is electric, and the memories are waiting to be made.

I love this place! So many spots to pick from and targets to aim at. The food is pretty good. One of my favorite ranges.
