What people say about (Cherry Hills Golf Course)

Worst golf course ever. There are hundreds of gopher/squirrel holes all over the place. Hit a drive dead center on number 11 and the grass in the middle of fairway was a foot tall and flooded with standing water. Fairways have many bare …

Check it out! Come play a round of California history. Play where some of golfs greatest legends played. Course is coming back better and stronger than ever! Changes are happening. Plans to refill an empty pond near the 17th hole. …

Very nice place. Very cost effective. Very fun. Some of the fairways and greens could use some TLC, but several of them are very very nice! There are quite a few gopher/ground squirrels in the course. If you have trouble walking easily, or …

Played here recently and If you like a challenge of hitting a golf ball out of a gopher hole or ground squirrel burrow then by all means. The course has a lot of challenges. The greens are patchy and with the amount of gopher holes and …

If i could rate ZERO stars I would. I chose to play here knowing it was a subpar course because I was planning on taking my son who is new to the game. Instead my wife and I ended up going as plans changed. The Marshall was clearly …

I've been playing at Cherry Hills for over ten years. When I first started playing here it was in great shape. Then the course was sold to someone who didn't care about keeping it in good shape. There are gopher holes and the rough has a …

Played saturday 4/15 and the landscaping around the fairway is very overgrown and should really be the main concern of the course. The weeds are so think and tall anything hit outside the fairway is lost 90% of the time. Either have to be very good at making it on the fairway. Or even better at locating you ball in the weeds.

Beautiful Day for 18 Holes Fairways are so Green right now !

This course was terrible. Extremely narrow course, which is fine but all the grass is dead. The few rough spots in the fairway are just huge water puddles. The greens are half dirt hald dead grass, but super slow due to being water logged. …

The course was in much better condition than I thought it would be considering the price of 18 holes. It's nice to see them currently working on the course to keep it in good condition. I will definitely play there again soon.

Worst golf course ever. There are hundreds of gopher/squirrel holes all over the place. Hit a drive dead center on number 11 and the grass in the middle of fairway was a foot tall and flooded with standing water. Fairways have many bare spots and the greens are pathetic. No senor rate and was charged $47 bucks for this atrocity of a course. Take your money else where. Update on 2/3/23: My wife is getting back into the game so I bit the bullet and took her there for a late morning round. 6 hours to play 18. Thus course owes it to the patrons to put a marshallnon the course and move these folks along. People wandering all over looking for balls, absolutely ridiculous. The condition of the course has by no means improved and I understand that it is mainly a learning course other than the regulars in the morning but come on. Taking my wife to other local courses to learn that are in way better shape, have a Marshall and charge less to play.

Check it out! Come play a round of California history. Play where some of golfs greatest legends played. Course is coming back better and stronger than ever! Changes are happening. Plans to refill an empty pond near the 17th hole. Beautiful, scenic desert vistas that seem to go on forever. Sunshine, blue skies, giant palm trees, newly groomed greens, and soft warm breezes. Yes, this course truly has that mid century Palm Springs vibe. There's a reason why this semi desert area was one of the FIRST Del Webb development in the country in 1965. This classic, mid century modern retirement golf area is in a fast moving Renaissance. Even the shopping centers are being remodeled very soon. And, the golf course reflects the great, new changes. All ages welcome to play. Come play on this historic course where celebrity icons like Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Lawrence Welk, Frank Sinatra, ... and many Sun City old timers claim Tiger Woods once practiced and played in his youth. Nice golf carts too. Fun course. Roughs are rough. But rumors swirling about new desert landscaping soon. Exciting times!

Very nice place. Very cost effective. Very fun. Some of the fairways and greens could use some TLC, but several of them are very very nice! There are quite a few gopher/ground squirrels in the course. If you have trouble walking easily, or are probe to tripping, you should keep that in mind. I did not use the driving range, however it looked great, if I recall correctly it was off of grass. The golf carts are in great shape, and there was great parking. Extremely fun corse. Definitely would recommend!
