Great golf course near Interstate 5 when you want to play a few holes while traveling. A little rough around the edges but good considering the lack of water many years in the Bakersfield area.
Showed up with some friends to play a quick round. My golf clubs had recently been stolen so I have been waiting on my new ones to come in. Decided to rent a bag from the course here & found a club missing when I grabbed the back. As I played I realized there was more than just 1 club missing out of a standard bag. When I brought it to their attend asking if I could get some sort of credit since the bag was full. I was told by staff “doesn’t matter if there is 10 clubs or 14 it’s the same price”. I don’t care about the money just seemed a bit unfair!
We had a great time on the course! Excellent & friendly service at the snack bar. Plenty of cold drinks and very good Hot Dogs. Several trees down on the course but no safety issues. Beautiful day and good family time.
