What people say about (Azusa Greens Golf Course)

Richard Chacon

Reopened as a 9 hole, AG still needs work. However for a quick 9, it’s still fun. Today 4/3, they’ve just aerated the greens and they are sandy. Failed to mention that in the pro shop. It’s just golf 😑 …

It's absolutely fantastic to see Azusa Greens back in action after all these years, and let me tell you, the wait was worth it! This course is a real gem and, without a doubt, the best value you'll find in this price range. The course itself is in excellent condition – clearly, a lot of care and attention has been poured into its revival. Each hole offers a unique challenge and the greens are surprisingly well-maintained. Beyond the course, the clubhouse exudes a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. From checking in to grabbing a post-round drink, their warm smiles and helpful attitudes truly enhance the overall experience. However, I do have to mention one significant drawback: getting to and from a few of the holes requires crossing a busy public street. Unfortunately, there isn't a traffic light or even any crosswalk lights to improve visibility for motorists when golfers are crossing. I actually had a couple of close calls with cars speeding by, which was quite unnerving. This is definitely something the management needs to address for the safety and peace of mind of their patrons. Despite this safety concern, the quality of the golf course and the exceptional service in the clubhouse make Azusa Greens a must-play. If they can find a solution to the street crossing issue, this course would easily be a five-star destination. For now, just be extra cautious when making those crossings, and you'll be rewarded with a fantastic round of golf at an unbeatable price.

I'm fairly new to golfing but I visited the driving range and putting green. $14 for a large bucket and they were open when I arrived at 7am. There were plenty of bays. Staff was friendly. People were friendly. Will be coming back here often. Next is the 9 hole!
