What people say about (The Legends Golf Club at Temeku Hills)

Zachary Butler

Horrible management and rude employees. Has gone WAY downhill over the last year or so. Treating it like a private course with horrible conditions and facilities. They are charging for a premium price when other courses local have way better facilities for the same price. Take your money elsewhere and if anyone talks to the employee named Mike, good luck. Guy is clearly awful at golf, hates his life and wants to make your day awful before it even begins. Avoid this course if possible.

On my day off work my 6 year old daughter was excited to watch me play golf for the first time. She got dressed in her golf attire and we headed to our 910 tee time. When we got to the pro shop Brian looked at my daughter and said we do not allow spectators. When I was around this same age ~30years ago my Dad took me to Temeku on a regular basis to watch the game and learn proper etiquette. The fact that they don’t allow a child to ride the course is complete BS. Did not even offer a riding fee. The guy behind me was then turned away from the driving rang for not having a collard shirt. I have played this course since it originally opened. It is in the worst shape I have ever seen and they are treating guest like trash.

Legends.....what a joke of a facility. Absolutely awful experience coming from a 30 year Temecula resident who plays once a week and visits all the local golf courses. Today's experience involves the driving range. I get to the pro shop at 4:10pm to find them already closed ( website says that they sell balls up to 60min before sunset which is 5:30pm). Although frustrated I said damn, I'll just practice putting. 5 minutes later an employee kicks off 2 guests who were still on the range even though again the website says they can use purchased range balls up to 30 minutes before sunset. The employee was incredibly rude. I decided to chime in and ask why they are closing so early and he proceeds to tell me to leave the putting green and that he wouldn't have sold me range balls because I'm not in golf attire (he said my Columbia Collared Shirt wasn't approved because it was a button down and not a polo). The rest of my attire was fine. Again, I was well put together and their website states a collared shirt (does not specify polo vs buttons). So....Customer Service was flat out rude and they make up the rules as they feel fit. Mind you, this is an average public golf course at best.
