Billy Bob's Golf

Have used Billy Bob’s over the years for various items, including hard to fit Ping iron ferrules. Ping has a way of making things just a bit different than anyone else. My most recent purchase which included more ferrules, but also 5-PW True Temper Dynamic Gold Mid 100 shafts. Good price and fast shipping. However….. just before receiving them I injured my left thumb and will not be able to golf for quite a bit. Then will probably have to go to a very, very senior flex graphite shafts. I reached out to Billy Bob’s and zero issue returning the DG shafts. I would highly recommend them. At least give them a look when looking to buy whatever.

I would not recommend. Website doesn’t work when you try to order. Sales associates on the phone are inexperienced (at least one is). And they have serious issues (intentional or unintentional) with their credit card processing. Tried to order something off the website on Friday, March 21,2025. The order would not go through multiple times. So, I called and placed the order on the phone with an associate. They called me back and left a voicemail because my credit card didn’t go through. I called them back, and the first associate had written down my credit card number incorrectly. So, I verified all of my information with the second associate on this call. I checked my bank credit card statement over the weekend to see if the charge had gone through, because I did not receive a confirmation e-mail from Billy Bob’s stating that they would be shipping my order. A charge had gone through for the order, but the charge had been reversed. I called Billy Bob’s Golf today, 03/24/2025, to see what had happened. They stated that my credit card was declined on Friday. I verified my credit card info with them again while on the phone today. They tried to run the card while I was on the phone, and told me it was declined. (A credit card I had used multiple times at other businesses all weekend, and used today on the way home to get gas, after today’s phone call.) I offered to use a completely different credit card. The associate on the phone ran the card. He stated that it was declined also, then stated that nothing was happening, as in there was no processing occurring at all. I checked that 2nd bank credit card statement online today after the phone call and my account stated that a charge had been accepted, then was reversed (just like the other credit card). When I called the first bank to see if they had an issue with Billy Bob’s golf, my bank stated that they accepted the charge from Billy Bob’s on Friday, but that Billy Bob’s had reversed the charge. The charge had not been declined by my bank. Billy Bob’s just reversed the charge, effectively declining my order. And then they apparently declined my order a second time with the second credit card. Both credit cards are working fine, and there is no hold on the cards. I don’t know what is going on with this company. Maybe they didn’t have the golf club part that I wanted to order and instead of just telling me that, they decided to be deceitful. Maybe they aren’t set up to process credit card orders on the website or over the phone. Maybe they didn’t want to take the time to process my order because it was only $30.00. It doesn’t matter at this point. It was a terrible experience trying to order from them.

Billy Bob's golf is the go too place for shafts,grips,repairs club building components etc. The staff there is Great, friendly and honest.
