What people say about (Hemet Golf Club)

Love the layout of this course. Always have a good time playing here, and the conditions are always playable. Nothing special but you're not hitting out of dead grass or rock solid sand pits. I will be playing here for a long time!

⸻ ⭐☆☆☆☆ A very disappointing experience! I am extremely disappointed with the front desk service of this golf course. The reception was very cold from the beginning, without even basic polite words. We asked a few normal questions, such as the details of the course arrangement and the rental equipment, and the front desk staff either perfunctorily dealt with it or put on an attitude of "Why are you so annoying?", with no sense of service at all. We booked four people, but only three of them played golf, and paid for four people. We were given three cars for four people, and the old man at the front desk was really confused. What's even more speechless is that when we asked again because we had questions about the venue arrangement, we were interrupted in a very impatient tone, and even started to curse at people unreasonably! As a golf club open to the public, the front desk represents the image of the entire venue, and this attitude is really unacceptable. The course itself is OK, but the quality of service makes me completely unwilling to come again. I hope the management can seriously reflect on it and train employees on the basic professionalism, otherwise it will only lose more customers. Extremely rude front desk service - women beware! This is one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had at this golf course. And this is my second time here. The first time was super service, so I came back again. This time I came to hemet golf course, originally looking forward to a good day, but I was met with rude and impolite treatment at the front desk - the worst thing is, obvious discrimination against women. From the moment I passed the counter, an elderly staff member was indifferent and unenthusiastic. When I politely asked a few basic questions about the course and equipment rental, as well as the reservation status, the tone was still firm, ⸻ Extremely rude front desk service - women beware! When I politely asked a few basic questions about the course and equipment rental, I was met with eye rolls, impatience and a condescending tone. Total lack of professionalism and courtesy. I was even more shocked by the stark contrast when a male customer behind me asked a similar question - the same staff member immediately became cheerful, attentive and respectful. The double standard is obvious and unacceptable. Is this how walk-ins are treated at hemet golf course? This kind of sexism and poor service should not occur in any public place, let alone one that expects to attract a diverse clientele. I urge management to take this matter seriously and provide proper training to ensure every customer - regardless of gender - is treated with dignity and respect. I will never return, it is a shame for a company and manager to hire an ignorant, disrespectful and rude front desk person.

Played today. Course is in so-so shape. Fairways are bare in spots and the grass thin on most fairways. Water hazards are all drained out which looks horrible aesthetically, but was ok 'cause we just hit out of 'em. Lots of gopher holes, which is annoying. Greens are exceptional though - fast and soft. What sucked was the way I was grouped. I booked as a single and was paired with a threesome who were obviously regulars who didn't hide their disappointment being paired with me - an outsider. Five minutes before our tee off, they found a friend to fill their foursome so they kicked me out and paired me with a single, to play behind them as a twosome. They were slow but it was fun to troll them and push 'em along just to get on their nerves and watch them hustle off the greens as we stood in the fairways waiting. I hit into them on purpose on one short par 4 which got 'em hustling even more. I hate being rushed when I play so hopefully it came back to bite 'em. The single I played with, however, was great company and I enjoyed my round, but it was rude for that group to kick me out and the starter just to stand by not doing anything about it. Update: Though I swore never to play this course again after how they treated me the first time, I gave it another try today because it was cheap for a last-minute round. It was a pretty hot day so the course was empty and we finished as a two-some in 3 hours with me as a walker. Because it's late spring there was a lot more grass and greenery compared to last summer when it was dried and burnt out. Some fairways are still pretty horrible, the bunkers really don't have sand - it's more like hard pan dirt. But the greens are in exceptional shape as they were last year. The course does have a large men's group that play together as a group. I walked in on them counting up their scores and settling their bets in the restaurant when I arrived for my tee time. I recognize a couple of guys that kicked me out of the foursome the last time I was there. It's laughable that these old guys think they're playing in their own private club like Riviera so they act like entitled jerks when it's really just a janky old public course. But I shot two over from the tips so I left feeling better about the experience.
