Marshall trail

Originally a downhill mountain bike trail 35+ years ago and one of the top 2 meccas of Southern California back then, it’s now well trekked but still offers about six stream crossings through 80% oak tree canopy coverage canyons. Watch out for uphill bikers and hikers. One epic jump you must hit is at the final stream crossing with a concrete lip edge, jumping up onto a sidewalk before the old golf course. Carry as much speed as possible through the creek and watch out for 🐢 size shell 🪨s. You can do it 😅🤘

This is the best local MTB trail in San Gabriel Valley, where my group MTBdudes often ride to enjoy the view and the wildlife. With a canopy of trees that runs along more than 50-70% of the trail makes it a local favorite amongst walkers, joggers, runners, horse riders and MTB riders.
