River Oaks Golf Course and Event Center

We held our daughter's Sweet 16 Birthday Celebration in their spacious Event Tent on May 24th and River Oaks Golf Course & Event Center. The staff was very helpful and accommodating during the planning, staging, and decorating steps that led up to a Fantastic evening with family members and friends. The site easily accommodated our 100+ person guest list. Parking was easily accessible and the views over the golf course, looking across the bottom 9 holes ⛳️ alongside the river, provided great photo opportunities for our guests as the sun was setting in the evening. The staff and this beautiful location made our daughter's Sweet 16 celebration unforgettable ❤️

It's been a few years since I played River Oaks. We played the top 9 and were surprised at the longer holes. It was fun, and it gave us extra steps. Love that today was 2 for 1 play. We will be back. Half price senior day on Tuesdays.

Great disappoinment today, my family has been playing River Oaks since forever (30 to 40 years?), but today was a new one for us. I showed up with my son at 7:45 and asked if we could play a round. We were informed that without a t-time we could not play and the next t-time available was 10:10. We totally understood because sometimes you get busy, we grabbed a bucket of balls and went to the range... but we observed the clubhouse was empty except for us, number 1, 2 and 3 holes were empty. One couple was half-way on four. We left the course at 10:15 and in that time we saw two groups of 2 players tee off, we also saw a big group (10 players) of "sling" golf tee off. We did not have a tee time, but if the first 3 holes are empty, why could we not tee off?. I would like to clarify that there was no rudeness involved, just the emphasis on tee time.
