This is a wonderful course just outside of town. The course itself is beautiful and is also a good challenge for the better golfers. Most of that challenge comes from the sheer length of the course, but there are a fair few holes with water hazards, bunkers, and varied elevation to keep it interesting. Make sure you wear a lot of sunscreen and drink a lot of fluids. Especially in the hotter months, and doubly so if you're walking this course. You'll need it! It was 28 degrees by 10am and the humidity was building. It's absolutely worth that extra effort though but as with all golf courses in Australia it's really important to be sun smart. The club house is in great condition, though I just drank 5 glasses of water after my round, and the pro shop is well stocked and well staffed. I would absolutely recommend a round here if you're in the area.
