The carbon crown on my M6 3 wood popped off after 4 and half years of use. I was pretty disappointed when that happened as I tend to lean on that club when I’m having issues with my driver or playing a shorter muni course. I went and booked an appointment with Tim Dabbs to see if could just find a replacement head and not have to replace the entire club. Thankfully, Tim was able to fit me and my current shaft to a Taylormade LS Qi 35 head. What I can appreciate was that Tim left no stone unturned. We went through 5 different head, and each and every time he always wanted my feedback. He wanted to know how the head looked to my eyes, if the sound of the strike was what I liked, and most importantly if the numbers matched the feel of my strike. For me smash factor was what I focused on and I was generally going between 1.48ish and 1.50, which meant that I was finding the middle of the club face at my current and sometimes faster swing speed more times than not. This gave me the confidence to move forward with the final option, which was the Taylormade Qi35 LS. I look forward to my next fitting with Tim! Thanks Tim!!
