Classic and Historical golf course. Great condition in early October 2023. Par 70 with lots of tee box/yardage options.
I searched Shinnecock on Googlemaps to see how far it was from NYC to hopefully start planning a trip for the US Open next year and Google asked me to review the course. Google, if you can get me a tee time at Shinny I will review every single solitary element of the course and club and happily report back.
Over rated as it is now the step sister to Sebonic (More character) and OF course National Golf Links is is the big dog on the block. If it weren't for the USGA tie in now one would ever hear of this place. So if you want a day of being looked down on and being told you are not a member this is the place.
