What people say about (Creeks Golf Course)

William Claesen

Since my last review [which I've deleted from eight months ago], The Creeks has seen DRAMATIC improvement and it's clear that course management is making TREMENDOUS efforts to make the course the most ideal possible [new irrigation for fairways and greens, drainage/creek flow improvements]. Going from a 2 star [my previous rating] to a 4 star in the span of 8 months is a pretty clear sign of improvement. The Creeks is also investing in a sizable Trackman facility which should be awesome when completed. A better handicap player can certainly post a low score (in the 70’s) here as the fairways are generous and the course is on the “shorter side” in terms of length (less than 6,000 yards from the back tees). The course is unique in the sense that almost all of the greens are elevated which means that accuracy is at a premium. The putting green and range areas are on the smaller side, but they meet general expectations. The clubhouse is certainly decent with a small bar and food prep area. In addition, I’ve found that the bar and food staff have always been friendly and professional. At roughly $50 per person on the weekends, I’d say it’s a “fair” / “expected” price for the area. In terms of other improvements, there are some items that likely should be addressed such as….. 1.) While the bridges on the course serve their purpose, they’re flat out “ugly“ and could be more aesthetically pleasing. 2). All cart paths should be 100% paved, period. Gravel trails are for unimproved property, not a golf course. 3.). The tee boxes are a touch “rough” and could use some additional work.

Good golf course. All the greens are elevated like a volcano, I wasn't crazy about that, but they were in good shape and were putting true. The layout is good, but I have never seen a course that holds water in the fairways like it does. Overall a very positive experience.

Very nice and well maintained RV park. Quiet neighbors. Showers are a very nice amenity. Recently opened up pickle ball and basketball courts but haven't gotten around to using them yet. Internet is unfortunately very sluggish and almost non existent from my spot. Other than the internet, there is not 1 bad thing I can say about this campground
