Covington Country Club

Ok I LOVE Covington golf course I played in a golf tournament and won 2nd place but that’s still good they are adding a new club house and I am veryyyy excited for it than I will get the buffet but I have really missed it so if you like golfing or swimming or anything on the golf course this is suggested!!!

We just had our Munford High School class of 1997 reunion after 25 years. Honestly I didn't even know Covington had a country club but despite growing up in Drummonds I didn't get to Covington very often in my childhood. I live in Memphis so it was about an hour drive from me and to be honest I got there after the sun had gone down so I didn't really get to experience the entirety of the country club from the outside. It was a very nice venue, from the entryway area where classmates had put up memorable pictures, to the banquet hall with ample seating and a dance floor that we took full advantage of. There was also a nice wooden bar area with TVs and seating. The drinks were within a reasonable price range for a bar and we had an absolute blast at our reunion! I will admit that the building does need some updating in a couple of places in the ceiling but otherwise it was a very nice place to spend some time with friends that I hadn't seen in a very long time. Thank you for that memory.

Beautifully maintained course - thick, healthy fairways and rough, lush greens, and a challenging but fair layout. I drive past this course all the time and I finally played it today - nothing but good things to say! Staff were very friendly as well - hope I can play again soon.
