What people say about (Red Apple Inn Golf Course)

Matt Boyd

Greens - 4.5/5. Not too much crazy undulation. Good shape, slightly slower pace if you’re into that which I am due to speed control issues Fairways - 3/5. Some patching issues. Some holes have drainage issues resulting in casual water (extreme on hole 4) Bunkers - 2.5/5. Half were okay, half were unplayable Location/Layout - 4.5/5. I take into account the location of a course. This is on an island/peninsula on a big lake which I thought was really cool. The layout is fun with a lot of elevation changes. A couple holes (17&18 especially) are plain and boring but overall it’s a fun track. Overall it was enjoyable round of golf. Round took forever but that was due to being in a tournament as a twosome behind a foursome of horrifically high handicappers, so not the courses fault. I would play it again if I was in the area

The course is not very well taken care of, the sand traps are full of rocks, grass, and water, not a great course for beginners either. Overall it was one of the worst golf courses I’ve ever been to.

We had a great time. Believe me, I kept my foot on the brake.
