The Links At Fort Smith

I moved in the links 2-17-2025. Apartment 805 It was weird they wanted me to signed the lease before looking at the unit. Kent beer belly informed that I had to pay the OGE bill due to I signed that lease but the dates were before my move in date. Fast forward to I request maintenance for the nasty smell coming from the water heater and my stove wasn’t properly working on stove top was not on correctly. I called to the office trying to talk to Connie but she is always rude talking as if she has a attitude.The floor was sinked in on certain parts of the living room.I told them about that I informed Kent I will be late due to my check being shredded at Walmart trying to cash it. Instead of giving me until 6 p.m. like he informed me. They locked my rent cafe account so I couldn’t pay. I don’t get why I am paying so much for rent when they aren’t fixing anything. The window panes was extremely dirty so much dust on the walls. The dent in the wall in the kitchen wasn’t fixed they just covered it up. Behind the fridge the peel tile wasn’t layed completely down. Oh and the fat lady that walked in my apartment without knocking and talking smack to the maintenance guy because he needed to spray . I wasn’t dressed decent for anyone to enter my home I pay for. I closed my door because I didn’t tell you to enter.

It’s affordable and the pool is nice. The apartment itself was just kinda gross. Carpet was damaged when we moved in. The building I lived in was infested with roaches, we saw them everyday. It has a strange smell. Could have been worse. My biggest issue with this place was the roaches. Me and my room mate pulled the oven back and they did a pretty bad job redoing the floors in the kitchen. If you are considering moving to the links, I recommend checking behind the fridge because there was a hole in the wall behind mine and it seems like that’s where the nest is. I just want to say that I lived in building 28 and confirmed with my neighbors that they have a roach problem too. People who have lived on the other side of the complex say they don’t have roaches.

The neighbors are quiet and honest. The scenery is a good fabrication of country living. Overall nice place to live. My favorite thing about my apartment is a personal washer and dryer.
