I enjoyed every minute of my visit. I went into Cabela's of Woodbury, MN. No I didn't receive any special treatment, but I did feel comfortable knowing that the staff in the firearms department was either as safe as some of the best gun ranges, as knowledgeable as the best gun shops, worked well together and assisted me throughout my purchase with answers to every concern. In Minnesota, if you're a permit carrier, you do not have to wait a day. You can leave the store with your gun purchase that day. After filling out the paperwork and the background check was done, I became a proud owner of a security 9 mm handgun. The price was right. I've researched the gun for years before I finally got around to purchasing it. This gun is always going to be available on shelves because of its reliability, durability, accuracy, it's inexpensive, and perfect for concealed carry/open carry or whatever it needs to be used for. Thank you, Cabela's. I'll be back.
1/5: Got the materials we needed. Customer service: 0/5 We were greeted when we walked in, and it started out fine. Then we were followed by multiple employees without them offering any help. Then when we checked out the items, the young woman cashier sounded like she accused us of stealing cause during the middle of the transaction, I made a comment about how cool the backpack is for having a plastic water jug, then she said she forgot to “check” if the backpack beforehand. We were trying to be environmentally friendly by putting our items in the backpack instead of plastics bags. I get that they were doing their jobs, but I don’t think they treat people like this if you look at specific way in the outdoors (if you know what I mean).
A very nice store. Everything you could need for outdoor activities etc.. Nice clothes and the scenery inside is amazing. There is a sitting area as well. The employees are friendly and helpful. Great store for all your outdoor sporting needs and then some. Very clean.
