What people say about (Show Low Bluff Disc Golf Course)

Estin Johnson

Techy course that’s a challenge to navigate both personally and with a disc. The first hole appears to have been removed, but the anchor foundation is still in place next to the tee box for hole 2. Holes 1-4 are fairly straight forward with a nice water feature bordering most of the way. 5-7 track up and across the side of the bluff. Keep an eye out for the tee box on 7; there is no marker other than a wider flat section of the dirt path. 8-9 send it back down the hill and end at the entry bridge. Overall, a nice circuit course with challenging features to improve accuracy skills. Could be better marked or have a map at the beginning, but once you’ve played through once it becomes fairly simple to stay on track.

Do you enjoy Easter egg hunts in chest high grass? Then you, will love, this course. *caution* It’s guaranteed you’ll lose a disc or three on this course, either in the water hazard or in the crazy dense vegetation. You’ll spend WAY more time looking for your lost discs than you will throwing them. Directions are extreeeeemly unclear here. It’s very difficult to know where the holes end or begin. Frustrating doesn’t begin to explain our feelings. I cannot recommend this course until they improve the conditions, and frankly, I don’t see that happening. It’s a lazy and overly optimistic design. We quit after the first three holes left us upset and demoralized.

It was fun, can't see the baskets all the time but it was a blast.
