Coronado Golf Course and Lighted Driving Range

Super friendly employees, driving range is good for beginners and practice. It’s nothing fancy but you cannot beat it for the price! This is my new place to hit the driving range, and the employees are fantastic! Cheap beer too which is a plus.

Don’t waste your money playing the golf course, $62.00 for two people to play nine holes with a cart. The course is pretty run down, there is a lot of dirt and some areas have gravel mixed in with the dirt. The greens are fair, some dry spots are intermixed. The golf cart we started with was a death trap, wobbly front end and hard to turn. The second one was not much better, when I turned the first cart in I told the guy at the counter he might want to have the cart checked and he just laughed. The cost of the large bucket of balls at the driving Range was $12.50. It was difficult to find an area on the range to hit from grass, it was mostly chewed up grass with a lot of dirt. There are no hole designation markers to tell you if you are on hole 1 or hole 8. It looks like the majority of people go to this course to hit range balls. Just my opinion for what that’s worth!

Worst place ever woman at the counter called me privileged and I didn’t even say anything to her. She came and grabbed the key out of the cart and told me not to come back. Don’t go here unless you want to be yelled at by Karen (old lady that runs the front counter Monday nights) for sitting in a golf cart minding your own business. Course was great I shot a 40. I like how it’s a true desert course all dirt and then some patches of grass for the greens. Just like how I used to play in Death Valley. Must play course if you are looking for somewhere you can putt from the middle of the fairway and make it in.
