Most horrible experience ever when golfing. I took a personal day to go golfing with my son who was visiting from out of state. We teed off at 1:30 p.m., around 2:45-3:00, we were harassed by the Marshall. The Marshall wanted to go home and said we were taking too long on the course. He yelled at us to hurry up or he would call someone to escort us off the course. At this time, we were on the 7th hole, having played for just a little under an hour and a half. When I called the clubhouse to inform them we were being harassed, the lady said it was because the Marshall wanted to go home and we were the only ones left on the course. The Marshall followed us very closely (less than 10 yards away) as we finished out the last 2 holes. He would yell at us and tell us to stop screwing around when we had a bad shot. I have been trying to contact a supervisor or owner, but the number the employees gave me goes straight to voicemail and no one has yet to call me back. This was the most unprofessional staff we have ever experienced. We have never been treated so rudely.
I've been playing at your course for at least 10 years. I've played there through all your management changes, when your greens were totally destroyed, in all four seasons. In reality, yours is one of the less played courses in the East Valley, and for good reason. However, to charge $40 dollars for fees, midweek, no twilight is highway robbery. Nice way to treat the locals that keep you in business during the peaks and lows of your twisted existence!
It started off as a fun day on the course but my family had to turn around because the staff didn’t charge for 3 carts and the staff asked to have everyone go back to pay for the 3rd cart then asked us to let someone else’s group go ahead of us, well we went on with our day and were having a great time but the Marshall said he wanted to close early and that we had a 15 minute time limit at each hole. He was very rude and followed my family around for the remaining 4 holes and stayed just feet away the entire time so everyone was extremely rushed. The course is supposed to be open until dark but as he explained, he wanted to go close early and go home. His words were “we would close early if you guys weren’t here” this was my dads first time playing golf and I really wish we would have been able to relax and enjoy it. We are very disappointed as we live near the course but will definitely be taking our business somewhere else.
