This place is a WIN Everything in the menu was super good, great quantity and great price. Impressively, the server was able to handle our party of 20+ with lots of kids just by herself, always keeping her smile and striving for a great service. The park for the kids, the views, the environment, the location... everything was a win for us. Good spot for a meal or drink after antelope canyon.
You can literally get terrible service with a smile. The staff here was so very nice but could not manage to get a single order correct. From drinks to dinner. It was a struggle. We were warned early on that they were rather busy and service could be slow but looking around there was only about 5 tables seated and people out on the patio. The lead server came around from table to table voicing his apologies and expressing that the other server was new but probably the worst dinner service as no one was shadowing the server and he just kept putting the wrong orders in. While my food was in fact delicious and cooked to perfection, my fiancé had the worst prime rib and it was overcooked and tough to chew. And the poor lady that brought our food almost buckled with the weight of the tray. This place looks fun and has a really great concept but the service needs to be reworked and addressed.
My family and I came to The Barnyard for the first time tonight! The service was great and the ambiance was so fun. The food was good, but I don’t think we’d be back if that was all they had to offer. Lucky for us and all of you, it is not. The mini golf course is beautiful and a hole-in-one is achievable for any mildly experienced player without being too simple. There are also card games, arcade games, and yard games! I was impressed by the drinks, and again, the great service. I’m excited to see how The Barnyard fares during its first busy season and we will be back next year during our annual Powell trip!
